Headway’s main activity is focused on the Direct Search and Survey of profiles, based on a list of sectors and/or functions where there might be possible candidates that are suitable for the required profile. Commonly known as Head Hunting, Headway Executive Search focuses its activity towards specific companies where there might be suitable and potential candidates for each project, always ensuring the adequacy and motivation level at both personal and professional level.
Once these candidates are identified, consultants from Headway conduct personal and curricular interviews, as well as a competency assessment in order to identify and evaluate their motivation or desire to change and the aspects that fit the professional profile previously defined by the client.
In 91% of the searches developed by HEADWAY Consultants, the suitable candidate was among the first three candidates presented to the client. The presentation of prospective candidates is met according to pre-determined parameters 84% of the time. Headway takes special precaution to ensure that the fulfilment of candidate searches is timely. We communicate regularly and often to keep all interested parties up to date and informed.

We offer evaluation of managerial and executive performance for positions that are either internal or external to a company. This field of study is extremely dynamic and consistently advancing to include the practices of successful professional development programs, entrepreneurial entities, and cutting-edge corporate structures.
The model that Headway uses is a model of attitudinal evaluation. This process of evaluation is unlike a curricular or a motivational interview, or psychometric /aptitude tests, etc. It simulates daily work situations of that allow our consultants to have in depth knowledge of the candidates’ potential.
The main purpose is to evaluate or measure personal aspects of the employees for internal promotions, in addition to evaluating for external selection, personnel rotations, discovery of training needs, performance evaluations and construction of work training teams, among other needs.
The information that is obtained in these assessments is the highest, most trusted and most objective that could be obtained for an evaluation and analysis of a candidate.

  • Design of the research strategy:

    · Identification of the target companies and the key professionals.
    · Selection of potential candidates.

  • Approach to potential candidates via heahunting, 1.0 and/or 2.0:

    · Presentation of the project and the position.
    · Identification of the aspects that fit the professional profile and evaluation of their wish to change.
    · Development of the long list.

  • Personal Interviews:

    · Competency assessment and level of adequacy for the position according to the requirements defined for each position.
    · Development of the short list.

  • Presentation of candidates

    · Decision making for the selection of candidates, featuring the short list: development of the dossier with the professional background and the additional reports of each of the candidates.
    · Coordination and monitoring of the interviews of the client with the candidates.

    · Counselling during the negotiation stage with the finalist candidate, if required by the client.
    Closing, after the effective recruitment of the selected candidate, follow-up and evaluation of the client’s level of satisfaction by means of a quality control test.
